The Appalachian Translational Research Network (ATRN) would like to invite you to be part of the 2025 ATRN Annual Health Summit, which scheduled to take place at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus, Ohio from Monday, October 12th to Tuesday, October 13, 2026. The Summit is hosted by The Ohio State University in partnership with Ohio State University Extension, Family and Consumer Sciences.
ATRN Members include Community Organizations, Universities, and Individuals dedicated to improving health outcomes across Appalachia. Members bring with them a deep knowledge base and passion for laboratory research, clinical research, community-based research, epidemiological and/or populations studies, outcomes research, health services research, evidence-based programs, program evaluations, and best practices in community organizations or clinical setting.
The ATRN Executive Leadership Committee is made up of 9 collaborating institutions including iTHRIV, Marshall University, Penn State University, The Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, University of Kentucky, Wake Forest University, The University of Pittsburgh, and West Virginia University.
The ATRN Annual Health Summit brings together a diverse group of faculty, research scientists, research personnel, trainees, scholars, administrators, community organizations, government agencies, private foundations, community members, and students (undergraduate, graduate, pre/postdoctoral). This will be an exceptional opportunity to share your organization with this diverse and varied group of people dedicated to improving health outcomes across Appalachia. We are anticipating 250-300 attendees.
