The 2022 ATRN Health Summit is now accepting abstracts for oral, poster, and symposium presentations. 

This year's theme is:
Community-Academic Engagement: Building Resilience Together

The University of Kentucky will host the 12th Annual Summit
in-person on November 14-15, 2022 at the Gatton Student Center, University of Kentucky campus.

Abstracts may be submitted that report on health-related research or programs focused on priority health issues that impact Appalachian communities.  

Abstracts may report on basic laboratory research, clinical research, community-based research, epidemiological and/or populations studies, outcomes research, health services research, evidence-based programs, program evaluations, or best practices in community organizations or clinical settings. Abstracts may describe work that has been or will be submitted at other meetings.
 

The Call for Abstracts is now closed. Notifications for acceptance will be sent Wednesday, October 12th.

About the ATRN

The Appalachian Translational Research Network (ATRN) is committed to addressing the significant health challenges and disparities specific to Appalachia by enhancing research collaborations to speed the translation of scientific discoveries to health improvements for this region.

The ATRN seeks to foster Community Engagement and Outreach to those in the Appalachian region. In addition, the ATRN will serve as a conduit for enhancing T1 research collaborations in areas relevant to the chronic health conditions prevalent in Appalachia.
